Edrissa SANYANG and Sanna CAMARA

It is in an extremily tense political and security situation in The Gambia that Sanna CAMARA and Edrissa SANYANG held a roundtable discussion with the press on December 20th 2016 in the premises of Sub-Saharan Africa Centre of Competence. Indeed, these two Gambian nationals, because of their open position against President JAMMEH had to go into exile for security reasons. During the meeting, they gave their views on the situation in their country.

They drew the attention of the international community to the abuses of JAMMEH's power as well as the risks faced by the Gambian people if nothing was done to stop him and force him to hand over power.
