Presentation and discussion of the report on Climate Security in West Africa “Complex Crises and Climate-Related Security Risks in West Africa”

The working group, which was set up in 2021 and brings together West African experts on the issue, drew up analyses and recommendations on climate-related security risks during a series of meetings leading up to the drafting of the report. The meeting brought together experts, researchers, academics, state and non-state representatives, civil society players and representatives of organisations such as ECOWAS.
